Why does water leak from the iron when I start to use it?

This happens when:
- the iron has been inactive for a long period and water got condensed inside the ducts;
- this is the first use.
In both situations, dispense the first quantity of steam outside ironing area, as indicated in the instruction manual.
- The thermostat is set at a too low temperature, so the plate can not let all the steam evaporate.
