Thanks to our proprietary Bean Extract Technology, no other drip coffee maker delivers TrueBrew™ quality coffee, without sacrificing ease of use. TrueBrew™ automatically grinds, doses, brews and cleans. Your interaction is as simple as selecting the size, strength and style of your choice and TrueBrew™ will automatically determine the ideal grind, dose and brewing parameters to get the freshest, most flavorful cup of coffee. After brewing, the grounds are automatically disposed of in a container so you can immediately start brewing your next cup. Personalizing your coffee with 6 sizes (single serve up to full carafe) and 5 styles (hot or iced, light, gold, bold or espresso-style) available make it easy to find the perfect cup for your own taste.
We highly encourage you to explore the vast world of specialty coffee and always recommend selecting beans that have been roasted within 2-8 weeks. Feel free to try different types (arabica vs. robusta) roasts (light, medium or dark), origins (single origin vs. blend) and beans from all over the world (Ethiopia, Brazil, Colombia, etc.). If you are looking for a good, quality starting point, then we suggest a freshly roasted, medium roast, arabica. There are many amazing roasters to pick from so start exploring their offerings and take note of what flavors and profiles you like best.
There are 3 main technical phases in each coffee cycle: grinding, internal movement of the brewing unit to prepare the infusion and the infusion itself. This is what differentiates TrueBrew™ from every standard drip coffee machine available on the market - as TrueBrew™ automatically grinds and doses the coffee according to the size and style you selected. The grinding phase and each different movement of the internal mechanism can create some possible noise that is absolutely normal and natural for the correct execution of the brewing process.
It’s entirely up to you, based on your own preference, but we suggest starting by filling your glass, mug, or travel tumbler halfway with ice. After brewing, you can add more ice as desired.
TrueBrew™ will automatically dispose of the leftover coffee powder and water after each cycle in dedicated internal trays, which are easily accessible from the front. You don’t need to empty and clean the trays every time; a dedicated alarm on the display will notify you when it is time to clean them based on the quantity of powder in each tray. To ensure TrueBrew™ maintains high quality performance for many years, you will want to descale the machine when notified, which is the process of cleaning out minerals or “scale” that are found in hard water. In addition, removing the brewing unit, also easily accessible from the front, and simply running it under water to remove any grounds that have built up over time is another simple and easy way to maintain peak performance.
