How do I drain a portable air conditioner?

Most units are designed with a drainage hose found on the back of the product near the bottom or in the middle. The cap of the drain hose needs to be removed and the unit should be drained into a external pan (not provided). When completed, always be sure to replace the cap otherwise water will flow out of the drain hose during use.
