How can I keep cleaned the plate of my iron?

The cleaning of the plate has to be performed with cold and unplugged iron.Use a damp cloth without any chemical additive, as combined with others temperatures could damage the plate coating.Do not use any abrasive substance. The cleaning cloth has to be soft in order to avoid any abrasion or scratch.
