If your model is equipped with a detachable cord be sure the cord is inserted in the proper way. There is only one way the cord can be inserted.- Be sure the heating element assembly is inserted properly onto the body of the unit. - make sure the plastic tab on the body didn't break off and is being inserted into the element piece- Be sure to always fill with oil prior to powering on. Turning the unit on without oil will blow the fuse and require to be reset. The reset button is located on the back of the control panel.
