The Milk Carafe is making a lot of air instead of frothing the milk like it usually does?

Ensure the silicone tube is correctly in place on the bottom of the carafe lid.
Ensure the lid is connected flush to the metal jug on both sides.
You may need to  clean the milk carafe.
This can easily be done by soaking all the parts in the De'Longhi Multi Clean solution.
