Prefer freshly ground coffee beans. Grind your favourite beans right before making your espresso.

Enjoy Arabica. Always choose high quality raw beans: Arabica beans are perfect. Arabica tends to have a smoother, sweeter taste, with flavour notes of chocolate and sugar. They also often have hints of fruits or berries. Robusta, on the other hand, has a pronounced bitter taste and an intense aftertaste.

Gram after gram. The right coffee dose is 8 grams for a cup of espresso.

The importance of heat consistency. Keeping temperatures constant and the ability to adapt then to different varieties and roasting levels of the beans during extraction is fundamental to ensuring the finest result in your cup.

Ready to taste temperature. Serve your coffee at about 65°C.

Last but not least: the cup. The ideal cup has an upside-down pyramid shape to maintain quality and the right temperature until the very last drop.
