This delicious cold drink is made with a classic fusion of coffee and tea, flavored with peach and orange blossom essences, as well as whipped cream to add texture and another layer of flavor.
It is an easy recipe to make at home. We recommend using a double espresso to preserve the intensity of the drink, but if you prefer a milder version you can use just one shot of espresso.
To enhance the stone fruit aromatics, we suggest that you use a Natural Processed Arabica bean with a Light Roast
* 1 double espresso (50 ml / 1.7 fl oz)
* 150 ml (5 fl oz) water
* 10 mg (0.35 oz) black tea leaves with star anise
* 1 teaspoon orange blossom essence
* 1 teaspoon peach essence
Boil the water in a kettle, pour it over the black tea leaves with star anise and let them steep. Strain and chill.
Fill half a glass with ice. Add the orange blossom and peach essences.
Pour the cold tea over the ice. Add the whipped cream.
Make a double espresso, put it in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.
Add the cold espresso to the glass and serve.
