Coffee Cherry Tea Coffee Cocktail Recipe

A version of cascara tea, made with muddled cherries, lemon and orange peel.​​​​​​​

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 40ml Italian Espresso
  • Cascara Tea (Cherry Tea - recipe below) 15ml 
  • Sugar Syrup (to taste) 
 
  • Cherry Tea Recipe: 
​​​​​​​
  • 3 Cherries (normally made with dried cherries) 
  • 1 Lemon Peel 
  • 1 Orange Peel 

Glass: Rocks
Ice: Single large cube
Garnish: Slice of orange

Method

Method

  1. Steep cherries, lemon peel and orange peel in 100ml of water for 10 minutes on a low simmer, then allow to cool. 
  2. Add all the ingredients to a shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously. 
  4. Fine strain into a chilled glass and add a slice of orange.
  5. Enjoy!
