How do I clean my toaster oven?

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance. Clean the door and the inside surface with a soap and water solution and dry thoroughly.  Do not use any chemical spray as these can damage your product. Never use sharp objects.   Use a damp sponge to clean the outside suface.   Accessories such as trays can be either washed by hand or in a dishwasher.

The door of our electric ovens does not close tightly. The door remains slightly open at the top. It is designed to allow the escape of steam vapours during the cooking process, thus ensuring better results.

Can I turn the timer dial OFF while the timer is still running?

It is highly recommended you let the timer dial cycle to the OFF position on its own rather than force turn it to OFF.   Simply remove the contents when finished and let the unit cycle OFF.   Forcing the timer dial to the OFF position may result in stripping the gear and ruining the timer.

What is European Convection on the Livenza toaster oven?

True European Convection is when you have at least 3 heating elements combined with a convection fan to distribute heat evenly and cook foods up to 30% faster than traditional ovens.  Compared to Fan convection technology which uses multiple heating elements but none of the elements are integrated with the convection fan. Integrating a heating element with the fan provides better temperature control and consistency to deliver more consistent results.

What does it mean when the display on my oven shows "SOFT"?

When your oven shows an error message of "SOFT" this is simply the software program for the unit. To clear this error, you will need to unplug the unit from the wall, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in. Please note: when the unit is being plugged in or unplugged, you should never press any buttons.
