Once the room reaches this, the heater stops producing heat but will turn back on when the room temperature drops.

What does my IP21 rating mean?

IP is an international standard used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from things like tools, dirt, and moisture. The two numbers that follow “IP” each have individual meaning. The first indicates the degree of protection for people from moving parts inside the unit and also the level of protection of equipment inside the unit from things like tools, dirt, etc.The second digit defines the protection level that the enclosure of the product has from various forms of moisture (drips, spray, submersion). This unit has a first digit of “2”, which means this product has protection from finger and from solid objects greater than 1/2” (12.5mm) in diameter. The second digit of this product is a “1”, which means this product provides against vertically falling drops of water or condensation.

Why does my fan heater go into stand by mode?

The heater may go into stand by mode or appear as it has turned off for a few reasons: 1. If the “ECO plus” function is active, the appliance may switch automatically to a lower heating power than the one displayed for a more efficient energy consumption. It is normal for this to occur a few times per hour while the unit is on. 2. If the desired set temperature has been reached and the thermostat maintains the heat by cycling the unit on and off. 3.The timer was active and the unit has reached the set time.4. The unit to prevent to overheat shut off, if this is the reason make sure it is not covered and free of object for a 3 ft (1 meter) radius; unplug and wait 10 minutes before plug in back.

I have set my 24 hour timer on my portable heater but it does not keep the accurate time?

The 24 hour timer will keep accurate time "only" while the product is plugged in and has power. In the event you unplug the unit, the timer will stop and requires resetting.

My fan heater  doesn’t work. Why is this?

If your fan heater model is equipped with a timer, and You'd like to use the heater in bypassing the timer mode, make sure all the timer elements (teeth) are toggled outwards "ON position" (see picture).

Can I use a Smart Plug to run my De’ Longhi Heater?

If your DeLonghi heater has an electronic digital display, NO, you cannot use a Smart Plug as it will not be able to turn on the unit. If your unit is "Non Digital" meaning it has a dial or knob you can set to turn it on, then YES you can set it to the ON position and control it using a Smart Plug schedule. Please note: the wattage of the Smart Plug MUST be suitable to accommodate the wattage of the unit you are using it on.
