• Check that your set humidity level is lower than the current humidity level this can be found on the units display after being plugged in and turned on• On units without a digital display, set the humidistat to the lowest setting.• Be sure the room you are trying to dehumidify has moisture in the air to collect this can be done by running the unit in another room that is warmer. • A low temperature in the room can affect the amount of moisture in the air thus resulting in a room with a higher humidity level but without moisture to collect.

The tank light will not go out

If the tank light on your dehumidifier will not goout please check the following:- Remove the tank, ensure it is empty, and replace- Check that the fill level float is inserted properly. This part indicates when the tank is full. Why is the defrost symbol flashing?

When the symbol flashes it means the internal components are too cold to operate efficiently and the unit will automatically go into defrost mode to correct this.The unit will automatically switch on when this operation is completed.

My dehumidifier emits hot air. Is that normal?

Yes, it's normal that, when the dehumidifier is working, it releases slightly warmer air than the room temperature. The dehumidifier is not an air conditioner and does not produce cold air.

Yes, our dehumidifiers are also designed for continuous draining. Some models may have a pump system which will allow you to continuosly drain up to 15 feet high.

I set the dehumidifier to continuous discharge but  the condensation water continues to collect in the tank. Why is this?

Check that your drain hose is properly inserted.Check that your drain hose is positioned lower than the base of the unit so gravity will extract water through the tube.

All De'Longhi models have a humidistat that allows you to set the degree of relative humidity that you feel most comfortable with.The humidistat will cycle the machine on and off accordingly to maintain thedesired humidity level.

To remove the dust collected on the filter you can use a vacuum cleaner.If the filter is very dirty, rinse it with warm water, the temperature should not exceed 100&deg;F (40 &deg;C).

No. The timer requires to be set daily and is designed to either start or stop on a delay setting for up to 24 hours.Ex: Start your unit in 3 hours or run your unit for 3 hours. Max 24 hoursThis setting needs to be chosen daily as it does not carry over to the next day

The pump symbol on my display is flashing,  why?

There are few reasons this could happen: The hose is not properly connected, please try to reconnect the hose. After reconnecting you need to reset the unit by unplugging from the wall outlet and plug in back in. Check that the hose is free of kinks or any obstruction in the line. The max height is 15 feet, please check the lengh is that or less.
