Just like in a café, Magnifica Plus can serve you an extra boost, brewing an additional short Espresso on top of your selected drink. If you select this option from the drink settings, Magnifica Plus will brew an additional 30ml (1 oz) of Espresso with fixed intensity. Please make sure your cup is big enough and that you wait for the second grinding/brewing phase to stop. For selected coffee beverages with milk, the extra shot will always be delivered right after the coffee phase.       

Please note: you will also see an 'extra' option on the display as the coffee is brewing, but this is for extra water only. If you want an extra shot of espresso you must choose ' extra shot' when you choose your drink beverage.
