Gas Heaters

What Is The dfference between catalytic and infrared heaters?

De 'Longhi does not produce gas heaters anymore, but only stoves infrared. The difference between these two types of heaters is the burner. In the catalytic heater the combustion takes place due to a chemical reaction between the gas and the components of the panel, while the infrared burner is made up of thousands of small cavities that are filled with gas which is "burned" by the pilot light. Do not use in the high mountains places.
