Do I still need to use the hose when my air conditioner is in dehumidifer only mode?

For this type of use* the device must be prepared in the same manner with the hose extended to allow the moisture to be discharged from the unit.

*applies only to air conditioners equipped with a separate function for dehumidification only mode.
