La Specialista Arte has a dual heating system. Although you cannot do these actions together, there is no waiting time in switching over from coffee to milk or vice versa. By having dual heating systems the temperature is accurate and stable for each function and the heat up time for the machine is still around 35 seconds. The grinder can be activated at the same time as steaming milk so you are ready to brew as soon as milk is finished. The milk steaming circuit has its own dedicated "Instant Heat System" boiler. This means that you can froth or steam milk almost immediately after delivering coffee, or vice versa you can deliver perfect Espresso immediately after frothing milk.
This is correct, the recipe selector dial determines the volume of water delivered as default, but can be customised by the user.
