Trade-In Programme Terms & Conditions

  1. Organiser and Scheme Operator

This Trade-In Programme ("Programme") is offered by Kenwood Ltd (part of the De’Longhi Group of Companies),  with registered address at 1 Kenwood Business Park, New Lane, Havant, Hampshire PO9 2NH ("Kenwood", "we", "our", "us", "Organiser"). All correspondence relating to the Programme should be addressed to this entity.

  1. Offer

Participants who purchase an eligible new Fully Automatic Coffee machine or Pump Manual Coffee Machine with a purchase price of £200 or over ("Qualifying Product") and subsequently trade in a qualifying equivalent device ("Trade-In Device") in accordance with these Terms will receive one variable payment of up to £160 dependent on the purchase price of the Qualifying Product, its age and working condition as set out in Table 1 below by bank transfer ("Trade-In Payment").

The Trade-In Payment is the only benefit available under this Programme; no alternative (whether in cash, credit, products or otherwise) will be offered.

  1. Programme Period

The Programme opens at 00:01 (BST) on 1 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 (BST) on 31 December 2026 or until the limit of 500 applications is reached (“Programme Period”).

Only purchases completed, and claims submitted, within these times are eligible. Claims received after the deadlines will be declined without exception.

  1. Territory & Eligibility

Open to natural persons aged 18 or over who are lawful permanent residents of the mainland United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, and who possess a personal GBP bank account in their own name.

The Programme is intended for end-consumers only. Trade, wholesale, bulk and commercial purchasers are expressly excluded.

Employees, contractors and agents of Kenwood, their affiliated companies and anyone professionally connected with this Programme, and the immediate families of all such persons, are not permitted to take part.

 

 

  1. Application Limits

A maximum of one Trade-In Payment may be claimed per person and per household, irrespective of the number of Qualifying Products purchased or Trade-In Devices submitted.

  1. How to Participate

Purchase a Qualifying Product directly from the De’Longhi eCommerce website at www.delonghi.com/en-gb during the Programme Period.

Upon purchase of your Qualifying Product, you can visit our dedicated landing page at www.delonghi.com/en-gb/e/trade-in-program where you can complete the online application form, providing your contact and bank-account details. The application must be submitted within 30 days from purchase of your Qualifying Product. The name on the bank account must match the purchaser's name. See Clause 7 for Trade-In Device requirements.

You will receive a confirmation email with instructions for packing your old device and managing your shipment. 

Your product should be returned promptly once you have made your trade-in application and we must receive your trade-in device within 30 days of your purchase. Any Trade-In Device received after the 30 days will not be eligible for the trade-in discount and your application will have failed.

 

  1. Trade-In Device Requirements

The Trade-In Device must be a De’Longhi brand product. The participating Trade-In Device models are as stated in Table 2 below.

Your trade-in device must be over one year old which on application will either be taken from the serial number of the Trade-In Device or the trade-in device model and date of purchase.

 It may turn on and make coffee or not, however if it does not turn on this will affect the trade in price you receive as detailed in Table 1.

 

Please ensure the any bean container, water tank, milk carafe, and grounds container are completely empty and wiped dry. You should pack the machine along with any included accessories, making sure to remove detachable cables and wrap the plug separately to prevent scratching. Wrap everything securely in bubble wrap so nothing moves, and place it inside a sturdy, suitably sized box.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the Trade-In Device to our  address provided. When shipping, we recommend using a tracked delivery service and obtain proof of postage.

Please note that damage sustained during transit may affect your final cashback value. 

Data wipe:  Before dispatching any wi-fi  enabled trade-in device, you must perform a factory reset and permanently delete all personal data, usage logs and Wi-Fi or cloud credentials. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for data that you fail to delete.

  1. Transfer of Ownership

Title to the Trade-In Device passes irrevocably to the Organiser at the moment the courier collects it. The Trade-In Device will not be returned under any circumstances, whether or not your claim ultimately qualifies for payment.

  1. Validation, Payment & Sustainability

Upon receipt we will inspect the Trade-In Device against the requirements in Section 7.

If the Trade-In Device meets those requirements the claim is validated, and the applicable Trade-In Payment will be transferred to the bank account supplied. The validation of the application and cashback processing may take up to 60 days to be completed.

Sustainability / WEEE: All accepted or rejected Trade-In Devices are processed, reused or recycled in full compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 (WEEE) and all other applicable environmental legislation.

  1. Returns, Exchanges & Interaction with Refunds: Eligibility for the Trade-In Payment is conditional on keeping the purchased Qualifying Product.

If you return or exchange the Qualifying Product before the Trade-In Payment is made, your existing claim will be cancelled automatically. You may submit a fresh claim in respect of the replacement product, provided all relevant conditions of this programme and these Terms and condition are adhered to.

If you return the Qualifying Product after the Trade-In Payment has already been issued, the Trade-In Payment amount will be deducted from any refund due. 

  1. Verification & Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to verify all claims and may request additional evidence of identity, age, address and purchase to prevent abuse.

Incomplete, illegible, late or fraudulent claims, as well as claims that otherwise breach these Terms, will be rejected and may, where relevant, be referred to the relevant authorities.

  1. Liability

We shall not be liable for:

  • any loss, delay, corruption or misdirection of claims or correspondence, whether due to technical failures, network errors or events outside reasonable control;

  • any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising in connection with the Programme.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

  1. Tax

Any tax, duty or other liability arising from participation in the Programme or receipt of the Trade-In Payment is the sole responsibility of the participant.

  1. Personal Data

Personal information supplied in connection with the Programme will be used only for the purposes of administering the Programme, fulfilling claims and preventing fraud, in accordance with the Organiser's Privacy Notice available at www.delonghi.com/privacy-policy. You agree that you have read and understood the Privacy Notice by participating in the Promotion.

 

  1. Promotion Stacking

You cannot participate in the Programme using any other voucher (including individual goodwill gestures) with the exception of our official offers on our eCommerce website. 

 

  1. Miscellaneous

If circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser make it necessary to do so, the Organiser may amend, suspend or cancel the Programme on reasonable notice.

Participating in the Promotion does not affect your statutory rights, including but not limited to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of faulty goods, and/or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (when purchasing via our Website).

Each of the paragraphs of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining terms will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising under or in connection with them.
