In order to set Bean Adapt at best, Rivelia needs to closely monitor the extraction process of the Espresso for at least 3 drinks, during which it analyses the various parameters thorough every phase, automatically fine tuning the different settings for an optimal configuration.

This is also why you cannot enter the Refine menu before reaching this 3 Espressos quota.

Espressos prepared in Switch Mode are not counted.
