Roasted veal shank with vegetables

  1. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  2. Put the oil, shanks, garlic and half of the stock in the bowl.
  3. Close the lid, select the OVEN program, set power level 2, set 90 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  4. Turn the shanks 2-3 times to brown well.
  5. After about 40 mins add the chopped vegetables, salt and pepper; add the remaining stock and cook for the remaining time (the time can vary depending upon the size of the shanks).
  6. Turn the vegetables and the shanks 2-3 times during cooking, adding more stock if necessary

  • Medium potatoes: 4
  • Garlic: 1 clove
  • Stock: 300 ml
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
