  1. Wash the rice several times until clean then cover with cold water.
  2. Wash the meat and cut into 1.5cmx1.5cm cubes.
  3. Wash and peel the carrots and onions and cut into cubes.
  4. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  5. Put the oil in the bowl then add the meat, onions and carrots and season with salt. Close the lid, select the POT function, select power level 3, set 25 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  6. At the end of the set time, open the lid and use silicone gloves to remove the paddle (be careful, it is very hot)
  7. Add the pilaf spices, garlic cloves and rice and mix well.
  8. Pour in the cold water and add the salt. Close the lid, select the STEW/RICE function, select power level 4, set 30 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  9. When the program is finished, open the lid and put the pilaf in a serving platter.


  • Basmati rice: 200 gr
  • Beef: 500 gr
  • Carrots: 3
  • Onion: 2
  • Vegetable oil: 60 ml
  • Water: 800 ml
  • Garlic: 3 cloves
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pilaf spices (cumin, barberry, turmeric, ginger, paprika): 1 tablespoon
