  1. soak the beans the night before (for at least 12 hours).
  2. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  3. Dice the celery, carrot and onion and put inside the bowl along with the oil.
  4. Close the lid, select the POT program, set power level 4, set 90 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  5. Sauté everything for 4 minutes then add the beans that were rinsed under running water, chopped potatoes, water and diced rosemary.
  6. Boil everything for the set time, reducing the power level as soon as it gets to a rolling boil.
  7. When cooking is complete, pour the soup into a bowl. Use a slotted spoon to remove 1/3 of the beans and blend the rest using a stick blender so that it is uniform.
  8. Put everything back in the cooking bowl, add the reserved beans, salt and pepper and bring back to a boil.
  9. Add the pasta and cook for the time indicated on the pasta package (if the soup is too thick, add some hot water).
  10. Serve hot drizzled with olive oil.
