Easy tempura batter

Beat all ingredients together.
Mixture will be slightly lumpy. Dip items to be fried in mixture and allow to rest a few minutes before frying. Fry until golden; drain on paper towel.
(Can be used for frying most any vegetable, onion, squash, eggplant, etc or chicken and fish.)

  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 c. flour
