Ingredients

  • Medium-sized cabbage: 1
  • Carrots: 2
  • Onion: 1
  • Minced beef: 350 gr
  • tomato puree: 1000 ml
  • Salt, pepper: to taste
  • Pre-boiled rice: 150 gr
  • Sour cream: 100 ml

Method

  1. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  2. Wash the cabbage and removing any tough parts.
  3. Put the cabbage inside the bowl and add water to the MAX level inside the bowl.
  4. Close the lid, select the POT function, select power level 4, set 25 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  5. When cooking is complete, remove the cabbage from the water, allow to cool and divide into leaves. If the leaves do not come apart easily, continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Peel, wash and grate the carrots
  7. Mix the meat, boiled rice and most of the carrot along with the salt and pepper in a bowl and mix until uniform (if the filling is too thick, add a little water).
  8. Put 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the middle of each cabbage leaf, roll up and close the ends
  9. Put the cabbage rolls in the bowl, sprinkle with the remaining grated carrots and pour the tomato on top.
  10. Put some sour cream on the rolls. Close the lid, select the STEW/RICE function, select power level 4, set 90 minutes and press the program start/stop button. After 20-25 min the power level can be lowered to 2.
  11. Serve hot with sour cream.
