savoury pie with asparagus, cheese and speck

Ingredients

  • green asparagus: 150 gr
  • water: 150 gr
  • shortcrust pastry roll: 1
  • cubed speck: 100 gr
  • Taleggio: 100 gr
  • eggs: 3
  • milk: 100ml
  • salt: to taste
  • pepper: to taste

Method

  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Clean the asparagus, chop and put in the bowl along with the water.
  3. Close the lid, select the POT program, set power level 4, set 15 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  4. Cook everything for about 15 minutes.
  5. When the asparagus have finished cooking, remove from the bowl, wait for it to cool and then remove the paddle.
  6. Roll out the shortcrust pastry with the greaseproof paper underneath it and prick the bottom with the tines of a fork.
  7. Put the speck, cubed cheese and asparagus in the bottom, pour the liquid mixture on top and spread evenly.
  8. Roll the edges of the dough towards the middle and using a pair of scissors, cut off the excess greaseproof paper (it is a good idea to leave a few parts for removing the savoury pie).
  9. Close the lid, select the OVEN program, set power level 2, set 25 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
