Rolls with poppy seeds and walnuts

Ingredients

  • Ingredients for the dough::
  • Eggs: 2
  • Milk: 150 ml
  • Softened butter: 100 g
  • Flour: 400 g
  • Sugar: 3 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Dry yeast: 1.5 teaspoons
  • Egg yolk (for browning): 1
  • Ingredients for the filling::
  • poppy seeds: 150 gr
  • Walnuts: 50 gr
  • Sugar: 3 tablespoons

Method

  1. Mix all of the liquid ingredients in the bowl. Add the sifted flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast. Mix until the dough is uniform.
  2. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  3. Close the lid, select the AIRGRILL program, select power level 4, set 2 minutes and press the program start/stop button. When finished heating, put the dough inside and close the lid. Let it rise for about 1 hour.
  4. In the meantime, chop the nuts and mix them with the sugar and poppy seeds.
  5. After an hour, remove the dough and roll out into a rectangle 0.5 cm thick.
  6. Spread the filling on the dough. Roll up and brush with egg yolk.
  7. Close the lid, select the AIRGRILL program, select power level 4, set 2 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  8. Put the roll inside the bowl on top of the greaseproof paper, close the lid and let rise for about 30 min.
  9. Select the CAKE program, select power level 2, set 35 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  10. When finished cooking, remove the cake and let it cool. Slice and serve.
