Ingredients

  • Millet porridge: 150 gr
  • Water: 500 ml
  • Milk: 600 ml
  • Butter: 30 gr
  • Pumpkin: 700 gr
  • Raisins: 30 gr
  • Sugar: 2 tablespoons

Method

  1. Wash the millet and raisins and soak in warm water.
  2. In the meantime, wash the pumpkin and cut into 1cmx1cm cubes
  3. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  4. Butter the bowl, add the pumpkin and sprinkle with sugar. Close the lid, select the OVEN program, select power level 3, set 20 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  5. When the program is finished, add the drained millet and raisins and the butter. Pour in the water and millet. Close the lid, select the STEW/RICE function, select power level 2, set 25 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  6. Tip: If you wish the result to be more tender, instead of cooking the pumpkin using the oven function you can boil it in water using the POT program, power level 4 for 30-40 minutes.
