Ingredients

  • minced meat: 1 kg
  • tomato puree: 350gr
  • carrot: 1
  • red wine: 150ml
  • celery stalk: 1
  • shallots or onions: 1
  • salt: to taste
  • pepper: to taste
  • olive oil: lev 5

Method

  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Arrange the chopped celery, carrot and onions in the bottom of the bowl; add the oil (level 5 on the measure).
  3. Close the lid, select the POT program, set power level 4, set 65 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  4. Sauté for 3 minutes and then add the minced meat and wine.
  5. Sauté for another 12 min. (while the meat is cooking, break up any lumps that may form with a wooden spoon) then add the tomato, a glass of water, salt and pepper.
  6. Finish cooking for another 50 min, lowering the power level if the sauce boils too much.
