Method

  1. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  2. Put the milk in the bowl. Close the lid, select the POT function, select power level 4, set 12 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  3. After 10 minutes pour in the kefir and continue cooking for the set time.
  4. Let it rest in the bowl for 30 minutes. Cover a strainer with 2 layers of cheesecloth and gently pour the contents of the bowl over it. Close the cheesecloth and allow to drain for 1 hour.
  5. Tip: the buttermilk that has been drained off can be used for various types of sweets and can replace milk in various recipes.
