Ingredients

  • Ingredients for the pastry::
  • Flour: 250 g
  • Sugar: 50 g
  • Softened butter: 125 g
  • Eggs: 1
  • Egg yolk: 1
  • Salt: 1 pinch
  • Ingredients for the filling::
  • Ricotta: 500 g
  • Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  • Eggs: 2
  • Pears: 2
  • Currants: 3 tablespoons
  • Semolina: 3 tablespoons
  • Yoghurt or sour cream: 100 ml
  • To decorate::
  • Icing sugar: 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Prepare the pastry by putting all of the ingredients in a food processor. Knead the dough by hand to create a ball.
  2. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  3. Roll out the dough on the greaseproof paper inside the bowl, leaving a big of an edge to hold in the filling.
  4. Wash the pears, peel and slice.
  5. Mix the ricotta with the sugar, eggs, semolina and yoghurt.
  6. Put 1/3 of the ricotta filling on the dough and spread evenly. Arrange the pear slices on top and cover with the rest of the filling. Decorate with fanned out pear slices.
  7. Close the lid, select the CAKE program, select power level 2, set 30 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  8. When finished cooking, carefully remove the CAKE and decorate with icing sugar and currants.
