Baked apples with ricotta and nuts.

Ingredients

  • Apples: 4
  • Ricotta: 4 tablespoons
  • Bananas: 1
  • Honey: 3 tablespoons
  • Pecans: 10
  • Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
  • Mint: 1
  • Pumpkin seeds: 1 tablespoon

Method

  1. Wash the apples, cut the top part horizontally, so the lower part is sufficiently stable.
  2. With a knife and spoon, remove the centre part.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ricotta, honey, pumpkin seeds, banana and nuts cut into large pieces; press down well with a fork.
  4. Fill the apple with the prepared batter, sprinkle with cinnamon and close the hat with the upper part of the apple.
  5. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  6. Cover the bottom of the bowl with greaseproof paper then put the apples on top. Close the lid, select the OVEN program, select power level 3, set 15 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  7. When finished cooking, remove the apples and remove to a plate. Drizzle with the cooking liquid from the bottom of the bowl and decorate with a few mint leaves.
