Ingredients

  • cured jowl: 400 gr
  • medium onion: 1
  • peeled tomatoes: 800 gr
  • sunflower oil: lev 3
  • chili pepper: 1
  • salt: to taste

Method

  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Slice the onion and cube the jowl (removing the hard skin). Put both in the bowl along with the oil.
  3. Close the lid, select the POT program, set power level 4, set 25 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  4. Sauté for 3 min then add the tomatoes, hot pepper and salt. Finish cooking until the sauce has reached the desired thickness.
