  1. First prepare the filling:
  2. Combine the flour, egg, sugar, butter (room temperature) and almond extract in a bowl.
  3. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  4. Lay a sheet of puff pastry in the bowl with greaseproof paper underneath it. Prick it with a fork and spread the filling evenly on top.
  5. Put the bean inside, choosing a spot near the edge of the cake.
  6. Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry and seal the edges well. Brush the surface with an egg yolk diluted with milk and make decorative incisions.
  7. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 3, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  8. Cook the cake for 25 min
  9. Turn the greaseproof paper one half turn and cook for another 10 minutes.
  10. According to tradition, the person who finds the hidden object in his piece of cake is king for the day.
