  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Wash and cut the artichoke heart in segments that are not too large (on average, you should get at least 8 segments from one heart).
  3. Put the garlic and oil in the bowl, close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Sauté for 2 min.
  4. Add the artichokes, hot broth and salt and cook for 50 min. When finished cooking, add chopped parsley.
