  1. Chop the walnuts with 50 g of sugar. Mix the butter with the rest of the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs one at a time, beating until the mixture is uniform. Then add the vanillin.
  3. Add the chopped walnuts and sugar and then the corn starch that has been sifted with the baking powder.
  4. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  5. Butter and flour the bowl and pour the batter in the centre, making sure it is level.
  6. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 2, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  7. Cook for 45 minutes (turn off the bottom heating element after 40 minutes). Allow to cool before serving.


  • Shelled walnuts: 250 g
  • Corn starch: 150 gr
  • Medium eggs: 4
  • Butter (room temperature): 200 gr
  • Packet of baking powder: 1
  • Packet of vanillin: 1
  • Sugar: 200 gr
