Roasted veal shank with vegetables

  1. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  2. Put the oil, shanks, garlic and half of the stock in the bowl.
  3. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 3, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  4. Cook the shanks for 40 minutes, turning them about halfway through.
  5. Add the chopped vegetables, salt and pepper, add the remaining stock and cook for about another 50 minutes (the time can vary depending upon the size of the shanks).
  6. Turn the vegetables and the shanks 2-3 times during cooking.

  • Carrots: 4
  • Medium potatoes: 4
  • Garlic: 1 clove
  • Stock: 300 ml
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste
