  1. Remove the head from the prawn and peel well.
  2. Dredge first in flour, then in the beaten egg and then in bread crumbs.
  3. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  4. Put the oil in the bottom of the bowl, close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  5. Heat the oil for 1 minute.
  6. Add the shrimp and cook for 4 minutes. If they are large, cook 6 at a time.
  7. Turn the shrimp over and cook for another 4 minutes.
  8. Serve with yoghurt sauce or mayonnaise.


  • Prawn tails: 12
  • Eggs: 2
  • Flour: to taste
  • Bread crumbs: to taste
  • Oil: lev. 5
