  1. Melt the butter in the microwave. In a bowl, mix the butter with the sugar and eggs.
  2. Combine the mixed flour and baking powder, lemon zest and milk. Mix with an electric mixer until the batter is smooth and uniform.
  3. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  4. Butter and flour the bowl and pour the batter inside, making sure it is level.
  5. Put a whole peach in the centre, slice the others in wedges and arrange around edge of the pan.
  6. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 2, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  7. Cook the cake for 45 minutes
  8. Cool and remove from the bowl; sprinkle with icing sugar.

  • canned peaches: 500gr

  • milk: 3-4 tablespoons
