  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Slice the onion and cube the jowl (removing the hard skin). Put both in the bowl along with the oil.
  3. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Sauté for 3 min. then add the tomatoes, hot pepper and salt.
  4. Cook for another 17 minutes or until it has reached the desired thickness.


  • Cured jowl: 200 gr
  • Medium onion: 1
  • Peeled tomatoes: 400 gr
  • Sunflower oil: lev 3
  • Hot pepper: 1
  • Salt: to taste
