  1. Remove paddle from bowl. Line bowl with 9-inch parchment round. Lightly grease sides of bowl with butter. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time mixing well after each. Then add vanilla.
  2. In a separate prep bowl, mix together cake flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add 1/3 flour mixture and 1/3 milk into the butter, egg and sugar mixture. Mix after each addition until just incorporated. Repeat 2 more times with remaining flour mixture and milk until it has all been added. If adding sprinkles, stir into batter until dispersed well.
  4. Pour batter into prepared bowl. Close lid, set power level to position 2, press bottom heating element button and press on/off button. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Top with your favorite icing and sprinkles.


  • unsalted butter: 1/2 cup (1 stick) + addiotnal for greasing bowl
  • sugar: 3/4 cup
  • eggs: 2
  • vanilla: 1 tsp
  • cake flour: 1 1/4 cups
  • baking powder: 1 1/2 tsp
  • salt: pinch
  • milk: 1/2 cup
  • sprinkles (optional): 2 tbsp
