  • chicken breast: 1 lb
  • flour: 1 tbsp
  • sliced almonds: 1/3 cup
  • onion: 1/2 onion, about 1/2 cup chopped
  • garlic: 1 clove
  • fresh grated ginger: 1 tbsp
  • oil: Level 5
  • soy sauce: 1 1/2 tbsp
  • water: 1/2 cup

  1. Insert paddle in bowl. Slice chicken into strips and toss in flour in a small prep bowl; dice onion and finely chop garlic and grate ginger. Set aside.
  2. Put the almonds inside bowl and spread over the bottom, close lid, set power level to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Toast almonds for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove almonds and put onion, minced garlic, ginger and oil in the bowl and sauté for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the lightly floured chicken, salt and pepper to taste and cook for another 13 minutes.
  5. Add soy sauce, water and toasted almonds and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve with rice and vegetables.
