Ingredients

  • Trofie: 200 gr
  • broccoli: 250 gr
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil: level 5
  • For the pesto sauce::
  • Fresh basil: 50 gr
  • Olive oil: 5 tablespoons
  • Pine nuts: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Parmigiano: 25 gr

Method

  1. Wash the broccoli and divide into florets.
  2. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  3. Add water to the bowl, up to the Max level. Add the salt and vegetable oil. Close the lid, select the POT function, select power level 4, set 30 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  4. As soon as the water starts to boil (about 15 min), add the pasta and broccoli.
  5. In the meantime prepare the sauce. In a mortar, mix together the basil, salt, olive oil, grated cheese and pine nuts. Season with salt as desired.
  6. When the pasta has finished cooking, drain it along with the broccoli and season with the previously prepared pesto.
