Ingredients

  • Quantities for about 15-20 deruni (draniki)::
  • medium potatoes: 4
  • onion: 1/2
  • carrot: 1
  • egg: 1
  • Italian flour (type 00): 100 gr
  • salt: to taste
  • olive oil: lev 5

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes, onion and carrot and wash thoroughly.
  2. Using a food processor, julienne all of the vegetables and put in a large bowl.
  3. Add the egg, salt and flour (the amount of flour can vary depending on how moist the vegetables are) and mix well.
  4. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  5. Put the oil in the bowl. Close the lid, select the POT program, set power level 4, set 12 minutes and press the program start/stop button.
  6. Preheat the oil for 2 min then add a tablespoon of dough in the bowl and make small patties.
  7. Cook each patty for about 10 min turning them about halfway through cooking.
