  • Eggs: 6
  • Sugar: 190 gr
  • All-purpose flour: 150 gr
  • Potato starch: 75 gr
  • Vanillin: 2 gr

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl until they are thick and foamy. Now add the sifted flour, starch and vanillin and mix with a whisk until completely mixed, making sure not to whip it.
  2. Remove the paddle from the bowl.
  3. Butter and flour the bowl and pour the batter in the centre, making sure it is level.
  4. Close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 2, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Cook for 35 min.

    Cornstarch, tapioca, or arrowroot are most commonly recommended to give you the same effect as potato starch so you can use those as a substitute if needed.
