Chicken with almonds

  • Chicken breast: 500 gr
  • Peeled almonds: 130 gr
  • Onion: 1/2
  • Fresh grated ginger: 1 tablespoon
  • Peanut oil: lev 5
  • Soy sauce: 60 gr
  • Water: to taste

  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Put the almonds inside the bowl and spread over the bottom, close the lid, set the thermostat dial to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Toast the almonds for 5 min.
  3. Remove the almonds and put the onion, minced garlic and oil in the bowl and sauté for about 2 min.
  4. Add the lightly floured chicken, salt and pepper and cook for another 13 min.
  5. Add the soy sauce, a ladle of hot water and the toasted almonds and cook for another 5 min.
