Instructions

After installing the air exhaust hose as described in the manual, to improve the performance of the appliance in air conditioning and boost (super-conditioning) modes, you can also fit the intake hose accessory (2) in the hole in the back of the appliance.

Air Conditioning Without Installation

To fix the intake hose (2) proceed as follows:

  1. Fit the intake hose (2) in the housing at the back of the appliance. Insert it as shown in figure A
  2. Fit the window outlet (2) to the end of the hose (3)
  3. Place the air conditioner near a window or French window
  4. Make sure the air exhaust hose is unobstructed
  5. Open the window or French window slightly and position the outlet (3) as shown in figure B

Keep the air hoses as short and free of curves as possible to avoid constrictions.

Air Conditioning With Installation

If required, the intake hose can also be installed semi-permanently.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Drill a second hole in an outside wall or through a window pane. Respect the height and dimensions of the hole given in figure E and F

    In the window pane

In the wooden kickboard of a French window

In the wall: you are recommended to insulate the section of wall using suitable insulation

  2. Fit the flange accessory provided (1) in the hole
  3. Fit the intake hose (2) in the housing at the back of the appliance
  4. Fit the end of the intake hose (2) to the flange (1) as shown in fig. F
  5. When the suction hose (2) is not used, the hole can be closed with the flange cap (1)

Note: When isntalling the air conditioner semi permanently, you should leave a door slightly open (as little as 1cm) to guarantee correct ventilation.

In this configuration, only air from outside is used, thus improving the efficiency of the appliance.

Keep the air hoses as short and free of curves as possible to avoid constrictions.
