The invention of the irish coffee is reclaimed by the small irish town of Foynes: in its coffee shops the irish coffee were served in order to heat the passenger after long trips. The irish coffee is an hot coffee, sugared, laced with whisky and a layer of cream.

Method

  1. Put the sugar into the glass and melt it with a little part of hot coffee.
  2.  Add the whiskey and the remaining coffee.
  3. Lastly overlap with a teaspoon of cream.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml of coffee
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 1 shot of Irish whisky
  • 1 teaspoon of cream
