  1. To prepare the filling, place the bread in a small bowl. Add the milk and soak until the bread is softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Pulse the beef, sausage, cheese, soaked bread mixture, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in a food processor until coarsely ground. Fill the pepper halves evenly with the filling.
  3. Remove the paddle from the Multifry bowl. Place the filled pepper halves in the bowl. Top each half with 1 Tbs. butter.
  4. Close the lid and set the thermostat dial to position 3. The bottom heating element must be off. Press the on/off button. Cook until the filling is cooked through and the peppers are tender, 30 - 40 min.

  • sweet italian sausage, casing removed: 1/4 lb
  • grated Parmesean chees: 1/2 cup
  • egg: 1 large

  • salt: 1/2 teaspoon
  • pepper: 1/4 teaspson
  • bell peppers, seeded and cut lengthwise in half: 2 medium
  • unsalted butter: 4 tbs.
