  1. Insert paddle in bowl. Cut meat into 3/4 to 1-inch cubes and toss in flour in a prep bowl.
  2. Slice the onions very thin, then clean mushrooms well and thinly slice.
  3. Put butter, onion and mushrooms in bowl, close lid, set power level to position 4, press bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Sauté for 10 minutes.
  4. Add floured meat, paprika, stock, salt and pepper and cook for another 10 minutes.
  5. Add sour cream and finish cooking for another 5 minutes or until it has reached desired doneness.

Ingredients

  • sirloin steak, or steak of choice: 2 lbs
  • flour: 2 tbsp
  • onions: 3 small
  • mushrooms: 2 10 oz packages
  • butter: 4 tbsp
  • paprika: 2 tbsp
  • beef stock or broth: 1/2 cup
  • salt, pepper: to taste
  • sour cream: 3/4 cup
