  1. Insert the paddle in bowl.
  2. Dice pancetta into 1/2-inch pieces and thinly slice onion. Add to bowl.
  3. Close lid, set power level to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Sauté for 10 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. And cook for 50-55 minutes, stirring and mashing tomatoes 3-4 times during cooking. When sauce is ready, serve over your favorite pasta.


  • about 1/2-inch slices pancetta: 12 oz
  • medium onions: 2
  • canned peeled tomatoes: 2 28-oz cans
  • crushed red pepper flakes: 1/2 tsp or to taste
  • salt: to taste
  • pepper: to taste
