Ingredients

  • green asparagus: 150gr
  • water: 150gr
  • shortcrust pastry roll: 1
  • cubed speck: 100gr
  • Taleggio: 100gr
  • eggs: 3
  • milk: 100ml
  • salt: to taste
  • pepper: to taste

Method

  1. Insert the paddle in the bowl.
  2. Clean the asparagus, chop and put in the bowl along with the water.
  3. Close the lid, set the thermostat to position 4, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button.
  4. Cook for about 15 minutes.
  5. When the asparagus have finished cooking, remove from the bowl, wait for it to cool and then remove the paddle.
  6. Roll out the shortcrust pastry with the greasefree paper underneath it and prick the bottom with the tines of a fork.
  7. Put the speck, cubed cheese and asparagus in the bottom, pour the liquid mixture on top and spread evenly.
  8. Roll the edges of the dough towards the middle and using a pair of scissors, cut off the excess greasefree paper (it is a good idea to leave a few parts for removing the savoury pie).
  9. Close the lid, set the thermostat to position 3, press the bottom heating element button and press the on/off button. Cook for 25 min.
